Note: there will be no kirtan if it rains in the Bhagsu-Dharamkot valley by 7 PM. Also: the sweet family at Milan Cafe (attached to Banjaara) makes some of the best food in this valley. They are open before and after kirtan.

Depuis les débuts de l’humanité, la musique, les sons et le chant ont été pratiqués dans le but d’entrer en contact avec la source du grand mystère de l’existence. Dans cet atelier, les participants apprendront les fondements de la guérison par le son et du pouvoir de l'intention. L’atelier offre aussi une introduction aux voyelles et mudras (poses yogiques des mains) qui permettent d’activer les différents chakras (centres énergétiques).

Venez célébrer la vie avec votre communauté yogique au Namaste Festival. Vous serez invités à vous abandonner à la musique, et à laisser libre le mouvement naturel de votre être. L’évènement est ouvert à tous, incluant les enfants, et aucune expérience en danse n’est nécessaire.

Time: 7 -8:30pm

SuryaChandra (the Sun and the Moon), will transport you into the healing vibrations of sacred chants. The evening will start with a 30 minutes concert of spiritual hymns followed by a one hour kirtan (call and response chanting), all accompanied with various instruments (sitar, harmonium, harp, israj, oud, cello, Celtic bouzouki, acoustic bass and guitar, banjo, darbouka, drone flute, hand percussions). SuryaChandra offers a colorful spiritual journey, and a taste of the infinite ways to connect with the Universal.

$20/person, $30/pair, or $40/family.
